The Division of Hydrography, Oceanography and Marine Cartography (DHOC) is an organ of the General Staff of the Moroccan Royal Navy, headed by a senior officer of the Navy, appointed by His Majesty the King, Supreme Chief and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, May God assist him.
Ensuring the missions of the National Hydrographic Service, the DHOC carries out many activities dealing with the measurement and description of the physical elements of the oceans, seas and coastal areas; as well as the production of various nautical documents, with a view to essentially ensuring the safety of navigation and meeting the needs of Defense.
